Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat said a proclaimer figure, Mohammad Hatta or familiarly known as Bung Hatta has an important role in the process of Indonesia's independence from the colonists.

" Bung Hatta is a figure who highly disciplined, hard to give up and a thinker ," told Djarot when he attended the Bung Hatta's 113th birthday commemoration in Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU), Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Wednesday (8/12).

Djarot also assessed, Bung Hatta's struggle that never surrender for the advancement of Indonesia should be an example and inspiration for the next young generation.

"Bung Hatta's mental and attitude that highly disciplined and never give up is very helpful for future generation," he explained.

In that occasion, Djarot also laying flowers on the grave Bung Hatta.
